Nia Technique

About 2-3 years ago, I began taking NIA (Non-Impact Aerobics or Neuromuscula Integrative Action)Medved, a certified Black Belt NIA instructor. I really loved it, but was unable to continue the classes. What I really wanted to do was to get certified myself as a White Belt instructor and teach NIA, but it is quite expensive and I couldn’t afford it.

Imagine my delight when I learned Denise has made a dvd based on the NIA technique!

Nia combines martial arts and dance and healing movements. The class gently yet fully engages all the muscle groups and joints of the body Stiff beginners and highly fit athletes alike can adapt Nia to meet their needs by choosing from three intensity levels.
